Another Sunday morning at Mystic Seaport

I enjoy taking a few hours on Sunday mornings to get away from the house. We needed to get a membership at the Mystic Seaport for Will to volunteer last summer, so why not make it a destination when the weather supports? It is a great place for Izzy to walk around, and the boys don’t mind going on the weeks that they are here. I get lots of pictures while we walk around. The boys don’t like to have their pictures taken, but Izzy isn’t old enough to get a choice yet (and she loves looking through pictures of herself on the computer).

I uploaded these over the past month or so, but haven’t added them to any posts:

Sunday morning at Mystic Seaport

We got a membership at Mystic Seaport at the beginning of the summer to allow Will to volunteer there. With a membership, I don’t feel bad making a short visit, and I have gotten in the routine of taking Izzy (and sometimes Will and Ben) for an hour or two on Sunday mornings while Susanna goes to the gym.

Sunday morning

Susanna takes yoga every Sunday morning, so I get a morning alone with Izzy the weeks the boys are at their mom’s house. This morning we (I) picked up the house and ran the vacuum and Izzy and I headed out to the Preston Park. The weather was perfect, and getting to the park at 9AM almost guarantees that we will have the playground to ourselves.
